The Telecom 400 offers personal and flexible protection for residents. Equipped with an Amie personal radio pendant, the resident can raise an alarm call from anywhere within their suite directly to staff who can identify the room number and alarm type (e.g. pendant, washroom pullcord, etc). When wireless telephones are used the staff member can initiate direct two-way voice contact with the person requesting help from anywhere in the facility. The Unit can dial six pre-programmed telephone numbers that monitor a wide range of events through the use of one hard-wired input and up to 4 fully supervised (which means the battery is constantly monitored) radio sensor devices. These include fall detectors, smoke alarms and wireless pullcords. Through the use of PIR's (Passive Infra Red), the Telecom 400 can also provide 24-hour inactivity monitoring for a greater level of personal protection. Resident safety and well being is also catered for in common areas by deploying the Common Area Unit which will receive a radio signal from any wireless trigger within range and send a call for help to a staff member.

The Telecom 4000 combines the same functions as the Telecom 400 with more feature rich benefits, including voice annunciation, six medical reminders, fast dial buttons and an LCD screen. Each Telecom can be programmed locally via the concealed keypad, a PC or remotely, ensuring you have full control. For added peace of mind, you also have Help Call technical support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Telecom 400 and 4000 carry a two year warranty offering additional peace of mind. |

Worn on the wrist, around the neck or clipped to clothing, the wireless personal pendants enable the resident to raise an alarm call from anywhere within their suite directly to staff at the facility. They are fully waterproof so can be worn whilst bathing or in the shower. |

The Fall Detector does not require intervention and uses a sophisticated two-stage process to identify a fall. It senses the impact and angle and emits a buzzing noise to alert the user that it is about to raise an alarm call if it is not in a vertical position when an impact is detected. The alarm call can be cancelled at this point by the user. If they fail to do so, the detector will raise the alarm on their behalf. |

The Pullcord can be positioned anywhere in a room to enable the resident to call for help if they are not wearing a wireless personal pendant or fall detector.
| The Radio Output Module (ROM) allows other compatible devices to communicate with the Telecom 400, 4000 or related systems, eliminating the need to hard-wire a sensor or detector to the unit. | ![]() | |

The Smoke Detector senses dangerous smoke and raises an alarm for investigation. It is available in mains, battery or line powered versions.
